2012 Fall Clean-up and Electronics Recycling Day Results

 

Many Dingman Township residents took advantage of the 2012 Fall Clean-up and Electronics Recycling Day. 

93 vehicles passed through the gates all loaded with material to be recycled or disposed of. 

 

      Electronic devices that will not be buried in a landfill

To Be Recycled:

Electronics (TVs, Computers, etc)     -  total of 3.7 tons !    

Including:                                                                           

29 Computers

29 Computer Monitors                      

41 Laptop computers                

31 VCRs /DVDs

61 Televisions

34 stereos/radios/ non-cellular telephones

and hundreds of other devices

 

Mixed metals                                             60 yards

White goods (washers, dryers, etc.)          7  items

Consumer batteries                                100+ pounds

             

          To Be Disposed of:

Assorted Rubbish                                   180 yards

If you missed Fall Clean-up Day, there will be another one this held in the Spring of 2013. (See Latest News for details.)  And, don't forget, you can bring your household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, hearing aid, rechargeable etc.) and cell phones to the Township Building for recycling Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:00.  Click here for more recycling opportunities.
