Scarecrows in the Park

Scarecrows in the Park 2015

Scarecrows await judging at the annual scarecrow competion.

On September 28, 2015, the Dingman Township Parks and Recreation Commission held their second annual Scarecrows in the Park festival.  The sunny autumn weather brought people from far and wide to enjoy the live music, demonstrations, food and childrens activities that lasted throughout the day.

Kids had a field day at the petting zoo, photo board, putting for prizes and other activities.

Our resident's creativity was obvious in the annual scarecrow contest with entries paradying everything from Gru and his monions to presidential candidate Donald Trump.  One even parodied the Park's maintenance workers!  Click here to see the winners.
