A New Law that Affects You

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act of 2007 applies to sewage repairs. The law requires that all contractors who contract to perform work in excess of $500.00 must register in accordance with the Act. The Act further regulates the contracts between the installer and the property owner. The law takes effect July 1, 2009.

If you do sewage repair work be sure to register and comply with the Act.
